Will there be any reoccurring charges after payment for the shoot?

No, there is only a one time payment made to the photographer before any photos are taken. There is only the one time fee for the photographer and no additional charges relating to the virtual tour.

Can I use these images on my business website?

Absolutely! Embed the tour on your business website, link it to share on social media networks, blogs, e-mail and much more. You can use the feature photos as well to promote your business.

How long will it take for me to see my virtual tour?

It typically can take up to 2 to 3 weeks to process the photos, and virtual tour and get them through the Google Quality Control process.

Will Google use the photos in other applications besides Google+ Local pages?

Yes, Google may use these images in other products and services in new ways that will make your business information more useful and accessible to users. For example, further integration with Google Maps will allow customers to find these images easily from the 360-degree Street View imagery of nearby roads for many locations.

When will I be able to review the results?

Access to Google's Online stitching application and layout area is restricted to only certified personnel. The process of stitching panoramic photos together and creating the tour layout is not open to the general public so viewing the final tour is not possible until the final product has passed Google's quality control and has been made public.

Could my photos be removed for other reasons?

Yes, Google reserves the right to post or take down any photos that fail to follow the Google Map Business View Policy. If photos are reported as inappropriate Google my decide to remove them.

How much does it cost?

It is very affordable and it's one time fee and you can use your photos how you want. We base the cost on the size of the business up to 4000 sqft. Anything larger will require a custom quote which will be based on levels and the number of panos and the areas that are included in the virtual tour. We would be more than happy to answer your questions or provide an estimate.

What is a Google Trusted Photographer?

Profile Portraits main photographer has been certified by Google Inc. to provide virtual business tours in the Austin and the surrounding areas. Quality and customer satisfaction are critical in order for us to maintain our status of a Trusted Photographer. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of work we've done, please contact us so we can address your concerns.

Do I need a Google+ Page?

Yes, first you need to make sure you have a Gmail account set up, then you will automatically have a Google+ Page from the Google+ Page you'll be able to create a Google Local Page that will contain your business info and it will also give you the ability to track how much traffic your page will receive.

Do I need to set up a Google account?

Yes, first you need to make sure you have a Gmail account set up, then you will automatically have a Google+ Page from the Google+ Page you'll be able to create a Google Local Page that will contain your business info and it will also give you the ability to track how much traffic your page will receive.

If I change my mind, am I able to remove my photos and virtual tour?

Yes, to request blurring or takedown click on the “Report a Problem” link on the specific images where you see issues and provide the requested information. Please note that the blurring/removal process may take several days.

Why use a Google Trusted Photographer rather than an another photographer?

Only Google Trusted Photographers have been trained and certified to submit business photos and virtual tours to Google. They are your direct link to Google. They can take your business presence on Google to a level that other photographer's can't.

Do I own the photographs taken by Profile Portraits?

Yes, you will own the photos taken by the Certified Google Trusted Photographer once the payment has been made for the services and the shoot is complete. Keep in mind, that by signing the agreement provided by the Trusted Photographer, you are also licensing the use of the photos to Google, who will publish the imagery.

Who from my business can give legal permission for the photo shoot?

People with this authority include the owner of the business or a director or manager with the authority to make those commitments on behalf of the business. Please note that by agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and the Google Terms of Service before your photo shoot, you are confirming that you have the authority to make that commitment.

Can I blur an image or take down panoramas from my business listing?

If you see an area or a section that needs blurring just let us know. At this time you can't take down individual panoramic images, it's an either all or none solution. Just visit your page find the 'Report a Problem' link and let them know what you need done.
